For those who are unfamiliar with the concept of a hitchhiker’s guide, or who do not understand sarcasm, the primary purpose of this website is humor or parody. While the information here can and should be informative, it should also be taken with a rather large grain of salt.

Should you find anything in this guide that you disagree with or in fact know to be false, please do remember the golden rule first laid out in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, “The Guide is definitive. Reality is frequently inaccurate.”

Welcome to Hitchhiker’s Guides

This website is an homage of sorts to the work of Douglas Adams, who first conceived of a Hitchhiker’s Guide in his creation of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. While the guides found here are certainly not guides to the galaxy, they are a set of specialized guides to specific areas of life. At the moment, our editor’s have managed to compile a meager amount of information on the subjects of Poltics, Christianity, and Journalism due to the fact that they are unsavory beings who are drawn to topics that decent people have been taught never to speak of in polite company.

At any rate, it should be noted again and again that these guides, while they are somewhat informative, are satirical in nature. You will find truth about the topics covered here, but you will have to wade through a rather large amount of satirical hogwash to get to it. Such, of course, is life, the universe and everything.
